Catholic Women's League (St. James)
The Catholic Women's League is a national organization uniting Catholic women to grow in faith, promote Christian values, and advocate for social justice. Founded in 1920, it is the largest organization of Catholic women in Canada, offering service, sisterhood, and support for church and community.

The CWL at Our Lady of the Valley meets five times a year and works together to raise money for the community: craft events for the vulnerable and shut-ins, bake sales, prayer groups, biblical meditation, serving at funerals, and plain good fellowship.

St. James Council 4949 received its charter on April 10, 1960. The Knights organize the annual necrology Mass and Marian Hour, support the parish's becoming-Catholic program, prayer group, and Pro-Life Society, and give to many charities: including seminarians, high school graduates, and an orphanage in India.

Council 12202 was chartered in 1988 at Our Lady of the Valley as Mother Teresa Council, renamed St. Teresa Council in 2019 after their patron's canonization. Members volunteer with charities that help the poor, the homeless, and the sick: and run the popular annual yard sale.
